Any garden lover knows that the South West is full of great gardens to explore, from manicured lawns to expansive parkland. However, one of the biggest highlights of the calendar is usually entirely natural – bluebells. We feel hugely privileged to be located in the upper Tamar Valley as you can probably tell from our name. It’s hard to imagine that the gentle river at the bottom of our hill is the same that is spanned by the Brunel bridge at Plymouth. After the warmest and wettest December on record, our poor flowers are completely confused! Daffodils before Christmas, snowdrops before New Year, and now our first camellia has flowered!
