After the hectic rush of Christmas, January is a great time to wind down and recover. However, if you’ve made the most of the excellent low rates on cottages, you will still find plenty going on in the region to keep you busy. Here are some of our top tips, from antique hunting to night-time races – though as usual, if we’ve missed a great idea, let us know in the comments!
Wow! Less than 2 weeks to Christmas Day. If you’re not quite feeling in the Yuletide mood, what better way remedy than having a good old festive sing-song! Of course, most churches in the area hold their own carol services, including the popular 9 Lessons and Carols; however, we’ve rounded up a few other concerts and events that are still to happen in the North Cornwall area. Put on that Christmas jumper and jingle those bells! If we've forgotten one, let us know in the comments below!
Hurray! It's December! Tis officially the season to be jolly!
There are so many great events coming up throughout Cornwall and Devon, it’s hard to choose between them. Most large attractions (such as Crealy, The Milky Way etc) have their own Christmas events lined up – and our local National Trust properties (Cotehele and Lanhydrock) are beautifully decorated and always worth a look. However in this post we’ve selected some worthy celebrations near North Cornwall that you may otherwise miss. Have we forgotten one? Add it using the comments section below! |
